SDG7: Data and Projections

The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals are a series of objectives that since 2015 have included targets on universal access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy. The IEA has incorporated these goals into its landmark Net Zero Emissions by 2050 Scenario, and will be updating the online resources on key SDG energy indicators. Our interactive data tools include the latest figures and projections on access to electricity and clean cooking, as well as energy efficiency and market penetration of renewable power.
