International Conference on Fossil Fuel Subsidy Reform

Background

The International Energy Agency (IEA) held the International Conference on Fossil Fuel Subsidy Reform in Paris on 13 October 2016. High-level delegates from 21 countries and 12 international organisations met to discuss and share insights on the process of phasing out energy subsidies to fossil fuels, with focus on the reforms applied in Mexico and Indonesia.
