Hydropower Special Market Report 2021

The IEA will publish its first ever market report dedicated to hydropower. The report will highlight the economic and policy environment for hydropower development and the challenges it faces, and offer recommendations to accelerate growth and maintain the existing infrastructure. The report will present ten-year capacity and generation forecasts for reservoir, run-of-river and pumped storage projects across the globe – based on bottom-up country and project-level monitoring.
