As Parties to the convention assembled to negotiate the rules of implementation of Paris Agreement, it is clear that Paris Agreement launched a new age in climate action. With Nationally Determined Contributions, countries all over the world struggle for low-carbon energy transition. This direction, with competitive low-carbon technologies, is indisputable. However, the different starting points mean that various approaches will need to be developed for energy transition.
