ASEAN-IEA Webinar: Stimulating innovation towards high-efficiency cooling solutions

Innovation can play a critical role to help create a future where energy efficient and sustainable cooling options are affordable and widespread. Innovation in space cooling can take many forms, ranging from technological innovations and improvements, innovative business models and finance, as well as innovation in policy developments. 

This webinar will bring together a group of expert speakers to focus on exploring measures that can be taken to stimulate innovation in technology, new business models, and policy development to support sustainable space cooling in Southeast Asia.

The webinar will close with an interactive roundtable discussion, leaving maximum time for engagement with the audience

This Webinar is part of a collaborative project between the IEA and the ASEAN Member States through the Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation Sub Sector Network, the ASEAN Secretariat and the ASEAN Centre for Energy and is supported by the ASEAN-Australia Development Cooperation Program Phase II (AADCP II) to develop regional roadmaps for buildings and space cooling. This event aims to bring together expert policy makers, compliance experts, academics, and engineers, as well as industry representatives from across Southeast Asia to share their knowledge and experience on innovation to support energy efficient space cooling appliances. Their expertise will be invaluable to inform the roadmap process.
