Intervention fonds for the environment and energy control

Last updated: 11 September 2019

FIDEME is a fund for environment and energy efficiency, and a specific financial scheme to support private investors (maximum financial share of 25% of the total project costs). The idea is to promote investments in energy efficient projects according to classical financial appraisal techniques but with a higher risk acceptance (which is balanced by higher commissions and interest rate). In 2001 this mix of private and public funds amounted to 300 million F (45 million €), with 100 million F (15 million €) coming from ADEME, and 200 million F (30 million €) coming from two partner financiers.
