Energy Efficiency Ordinance EnEV - efficiency standards for motors

The efficiency requirements of Switzerland remain identical to those of the EU. From 1 July 2021 onwards, smaller motors (from 120 watts) and large motors (up to 1000 kilowatts) are further included in the minimum requirements with the requirement for efficiency class IE3 for most motor sizes. 
From 1 July 2023, motors with nominal power ranging between 75 kW and 200 kW needs to comply with IE4 efficiency requirements.
