NOM-025-ENER-2013: Thermal efficiency of household cooking appliances that use LP gas or natural gas. Limits, testing methods and labeling

Last updated: 12 May 2021
This standard establishes the minimum thermal efficiency levels of the upper burners, as well as the maintenance consumption of the oven, of domestic appliances for cooking food that uses LP gas or natural gas.The thermal efficiency of the burners of the upper section can not be less than: 45% for burners with thermal capacity up to 11,500 kJ/h; and 30% for burners with thermal capacity greater than 11,500 kJ/h.The maintenance consumption of the oven must not be greater than the value obtained by the formula Ce = 0.93 + 0.035*V where "Ce" is the maximum value of the maintenance consumption of the oven in kJ/h and "V" is the useful volume of the oven in cubic decimetres.
