NOM-022-ENER/SCFI-2014: Energy efficiency and user safety requirements for self-contained commercial refrigerators. Limits, testing methods and labelling

This standard establishes the limits of maximum consumption of electrical energy per liter of refrigerated volume. It applies to self-contained commercial refrigerators powered by electricity: vertical refrigerators with one or more front doors with a capacity of 25 liters or more; horizontal refrigerators, horizontal freezers, and vertical freezers with a capacity of 50 liters or more; closed display refrigerators and ice storage bin with a capacity of 100 liters or more. See the attachements for the efficiency levels.The standard NOM-022-ENER/SCFI-2014 supersedes the NOM-022-ENER/SCFI-2008. The 2014 version has more stringent requirements in terms of maximum consumption of electrical energy per liter of refrigerated volume than the 2008 version.
