NOM-014-ENER-2004: Energy efficiency of electric motors of alternating current, single phase, induction, squirrel cage type, cooled with air, in nominal power of 0,180 kW to 1,500 kW. Limits, testing method and marking

This standard establishes the minimum energy efficiency levels for motors of alternating current, single-phase, induction, cage type squirrel, air-cooled, in nominal power of 0.180 to 1.5 kW of a single rotation frequency, 2, 4 or 6 poles, split phase or start capacitor, open or closed. See the attachment for the minimum efficiency levels.
The standard NOM-014-ENER-2004 supersedes the standard NOM-014-ENER-1997. The 2004 version sets the level of nominal efficiency for single-phase motor with 6 poles.
