SI 994-1 Air conditioners: Safety requirements and performance requirements

This standard applies to air conditioners built from one unit: or more whose maximum rated output is 81 kW (air conditioners). This standard determines the requirements for the safety of air conditioners and the structure of the air conditioners.

 

This standard applies to air conditioners of these types: single air conditioner, split air conditioner, This standard applies, except for operational and performance requirements, to certain types of air conditioners for special uses (such as use of industrial processes, communications facilities, military and transportation equipment). This standard applies to mobile air conditioners: This standard does not apply to: Air conditioners whose compressor is open; and Air conditioners that feed on a straight current
