RTE INEN 072 - energy efficiency for ductless air conditioners

Resoultion RTE INEN 072 adopts standard NTE INEN 2495:2009, thus setting the following energy efficiency standards and classes as well as the appliance testing methods and the rules for labelling.

 

Packaged type air conditioners for residential use:

  • Class A: EER > 3.00
  • Class B:  2.80 = EER < 3.00
  • Class C: 2.60 = EER < 2.80
  • Class D: 2.40 = EER < 2.60
  • Class E: 2.20 = EER < 2.40
  • Class F: 2.00 = EER < 2.20
  • Class G: EER < 2.00

 

Split air conditioners for residential use:

  • Class A: EER > 3.20
  • Class B: 3.00 = EER < 3.20
  • Class C: 2.80 = EER < 3.00
  • Class D: 2.60 = EER < 2.80
  • Class E: 2.40 = EER < 2.60
  • Class F: 2.20 = EER < 2.40
  • Class G: EER < 2.20
