Energy Efficiency and Conservation Standards Guide for the Public Sector
While this guide is not a handbook of codes or standards, it is based on the Jamaica Application Document for the International Energy Conservation Code (JS 309:2009) published by the Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ). This document seeks to effectively enhance the capacity of the public sector for the procurement and management of energy efficient goods and services in the public sector by
(1) being an information resource tool for Office Managers and Facilities Managers in the procurement and management of energy efficient goods and services in the public sector, and
(2) increasing the knowledge and awareness of public sector employees on energy efficiency and conservation standards.
