Growth and Transformation Plan II (GTP II) 2016-2020 was adopted in May 2016 and replaces GTP I covering years 2011-2015. GTP II is a comprehensive strategy to improve economic condition of Ethiopia and includes energy and renewable energy targets guiding country’s development.
