Costa Rica National Biofuels Commission (Comisión Nacional de Biocombustibles)

This Decree created the National Biofuels Commission, which was tasked to propose an action plan containing the short-, medium- and long-term strategies for biofuels usage in Costa Rica. The commission was also mandated to propose action for monitoring and control of the biofuels market.

The National Biofuels Commission was disbanded by the Biofuel Regulation (Decree 35091 of 2009), once it had accomplished its intended tasks.
