Feed-in-Tariffs for Biomass and Municipal Waste (Ministerial Regulation No. 27/2014 and No. 44/2015)
Ministerial Regulation No. 27/2014 on feed-in tariffs for bioenergy projects replaces Ministerial Regulation No. 19/2013. Effectively, the remuneration levels are increased both for biomass and biogas generators. Only projects under 10 MW capacity are eligible for the support and benefit from the obligation purchase rule.
Voltage | Technology | Feed-in tariff level Rp/kWh |
Medium Voltage | Biomass | 1.150 |
Biogas | 1.050 | |
Low Voltage | Biomass | 1.500 |
Biogas | 1.400 |
Tariffs are not adjustable for inflation or exchange rate variations.
Variable price multiplier is available for projects depending on their location:
- Java Island: F = 1.00
- Sumatra Island: F = 1.15
- Sulawesi Island: F = 1.25
- Bali, Bangka-Belitung, Lombok: F = 1.5
- Kalimantan Island: F = 1.30
- Riau Archipelago, Papau and rest: F = 1.6
Ministerial Regulation No. 44/2015 replaces 2013 tariff levels and denominates them in USD.
Voltage | Technology | Feed-in tariff level USDcents/kWh |
Medium Voltage | Municipal Solid Waste – thermal process | 13.14 - 18.77 |
Municipal Solid Waste – landfill and anaerobic digestion | 16.55 | |
Low Voltage | Municipal Solid Waste – thermal process | 22.43 |
Municipal Solid Waste – landfill and anaerobic digestion | 20.16 |
