Electricity Industry Law stipulates a non-discriminatory grid access for renewable energy generators. Also the Law guarantees renewable energy generators right to sell produced electricity on a spot market. Both provisions apply to generators with a capacity under 9MW.

The Law exempts eligible generators from transmission fees and provides for reduced fees for generators of 9MW-20MW capacity.

The Law determines cost allocation for grid expansion
