Television Series -- About the House

The About the House television series commenced in 2000. The TV series, presented by architect, Duncan Stewart, deals with all aspects of home building and home improvement. The show places considerabl emphasis on energy-related matters. This includes advice on buying a home, constructing and project managing a building, insulation improvements, energy tips, solar panels and more. In 2007, About the House, explored the latest technology in Passive Design, namely, home designs that require no heating system, and which can be built for a reasonable cost. The programme also visited families who receive assistance from the "Power of One" energy coaches regarding ways to reduce their domestic energy bills.
