Law 13.263 on mandatory biodiesel requirement

In March 2016, the government increased the mandatory biodiesel blending target up to 8% starting from March 2017, up to 9% from March 2018, and up to 10% from March 2019. 
The targets were reconfirmed by the Resolution No. 11/2016 by CNPE. 

The blending targets are steadily increasing since 2008 (2% in January 2008 // 3% in July 2008 // 4% in July 2009 // 5% in January 2010 // 7% in November 2014).
