CLIMIT

CLIMIT is a major Norwegian programme for research, development and demonstration of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) technology. The Research Council of Norway and Gassnova (a state-owned research organisation established by the Norwegian government that manages a variety of Norway’s CCUS initiatives) coordinate the research. The CLIMIT Programme awards grants in excess of NOK 200 million (USD 23 million) per year to the most suitable CCUS projects. The CLIMIT Programme Plan for 2017-2022 is focused in part on international CCUS deployment.
