Best Practices Program

The BestPractices Program works with industry to identify plant-wide opportunities for energy savings and process efficiency. Through the implementation of new technologies and systems improvements, companies across the United States are achieving immediate savings results. The programme provides: - Informational resources and tools - Technical assistance - Demonstrated emerging technologies Coverage includes industrial systems (such as compressed air, motors, process heating, and steam systems) as well as plant-wide assessments where plants are selected through a competitive solicitation process, and these plants agree to a minimum 50% cost-share for implementing the assessment. A BestPractices team conducts an on-site analysis of total energy use.
