The Act of 29 August 2014. the Energy Performance of Buildings Law (Journal Laws Pos. 1200, as amended)
All residential and non residential buildings with some exceptions as regards the use of buildings. This Act regulates issues: of the preparation of energy performance certificates, of the inspections of heating and air conditioning system in buildings, of keeping a central register of the energy performance of buildings, of the National Action Plan aimed at increasing the number of buildings with low energy consumption.
This act obliges the Minister responsible for construction, local planning and zoning, and housing to determine, by regulation, the methodology for quantifying the energy performance of a building or part of a building, a way of preparing and patterns of energy performance certificates.
