This standard defines EER and COP of air cooled and water cooled chillers, starting from 2003 (first phase) and 2005 (second phase)

water cooled,volume compressor

  • CC <150RT
    • first phase: EER 3.50; COP4.07
    • second phase: EER 3.83; COP4.45
  • CC ?150RT and ?500RT
    • first phase: EER 3.60; COP 4.19
    • second phase: EER 4.21; COP 4.90
  • CC> 500
    • first phase: EER (kcal/h-W)4.00; COP 4.65
    • second phase: EER (kcal/h-W)4.73; COP 5.50

water cooled,centrifugal compressor

  • CC <150RT
    • first phase:EER (kcal/h-W)4.30; COP 5.00
    • second phase: CC EER (kcal/h-W)4.3 COP 5.00
  • CC ?150RT and <300RT
    • first phase: EER (kcal/h-W)4.77; COP 5.55
    • Second phase: EER (kcal/h-W)4.77; COP 5.55
  • CC ?300RT
