Iceland - Faeroe Islands Free Trade Agreement

The Faeroe Islands - Iceland Free Trade Agreement aims to foster economic and trade relations between the two countries by eliminating tariffs and other trade barriers. 

The Agreement requires both parties to accord trade conditions and benefits that are no less favourable than any other terms offers to other country.  

The Agreement also includes rules of origin and local content provisions. Goods are counted as originating if they are wholly produced or obtained in the country, or undergo sufficient work.
