Contract for Difference Scheme- Onshore Wind and Solar Photovoltaic

The Romanian government is launching in September 2024 a tender process to allocate contracts for difference for the construction and operation of solar photovoltaic and onshore wind installations. The contracts for difference are designed to run over over the next 15 years. 

The European Commission approved a EUR 3 billion State aid for this scheme, under the State aid Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework
