As part of the Green Innovation Fund, up to 298.26 billion yen is set aside to support the development of technology for CO2 recycling, including:126.2 billion yen for the development of technology for producing raw materials for plastics using CO2 and other sources115.28 billion yen for the development of technology for producing fuel, such as synthetic fuels, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), synthetic methane, and green LPG, using CO256.78 billion yen for the development of technology for producing concrete and cement using CO2
