Government investment in renewable energy projects

In 2023, the Turkish government provided co-funding to the following projects

• New solar power plants (total capacity of 7,558 MW) and one hydropower plant (capacity 2,239 MW) for water treatment facilities;
• Solar power plants for the municipalities of Adıyaman, Isparta, and Sivaso.
