Future Made in Australia - Renewable Energy Superpower (Clean Energy Technology Manufacturing)

As part of the Future Made in Australia plan, the Australian government announced AUD 1.4 billion in funding for clean energy technology manufacturing, namely for solar and batteries.

Specifically, this measure allocates: 

• AUD 835.6 million towards the creation of the Solar Sunshot program to increase solar manufacturing capacity and improve supply chain resilience through the production incentives administered by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA).
• AUD 549 million to support battery manufacturing, including $523.2 million in production incentives, $20.3 million in workforce training, and $5.6 million to support the Australian Made Battery Manufacturing Precinct.
