Import duty and tax reductions for electric and hybrid vehicles

In July 2021, the Bolivian government eliminated import tariffs for electric and hybrid vehicles-including for agricultural use- and their related components.  Additionally, a consumption tax reduction was also enacted for electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as for electricity grid components and charging systems for electric vehicles.
