SANS 10400XA - Part XA: Energy Usage in Buildings

The building code applies to commercial and residential buildings. It is mandatory for all new buildings within the scope of the National Building regulations. The standard also references SANS 0204. This standard sets minimum R values of pipe insultation for hot water supply, maximum energy intensity and yearly consumption per building type for different climate zones.
