National Project for Energy Efficiency in Public Lightning - FOTEASE

Mexico's Energy Transition and Sustainable Energy Utilization Fund (FOTEASE) was created in 2008, within the framework of the Energy Transition Law. According to the latest report issued by Mexico's Secretariat of Energy, as of December 31, 2022, the fund allocated over MXN 340 million for the National Project for Energy Efficiency in Public Lightning. The project seeks to accelerate the adoption of new public lightning technologies in local municipalities throughout the country.
