Free Trade Agreement between the State of Israel and the republic of Colombia

The Free Trade Agreement between the State of Israel and the republic of Colombia entered into force in 2020. It provides for the gradual reduction of border tariffs, including for

  • Products with electrolyte of zinc chloride or ammonium;
  • Articles of iron or steel wire;
  • Domestic chargers put up in sets including batteries;
  • Products of copper-nickel base alloys or copper-nickel-zinc base alloys (nickel silver);
  • Products of  aluminium alloys and aluminium;


Rules of origin delineated in the Agreement provide that the value of non-originating materials used in a product should not exceed 50% of its ex-works price in order to benefit from preferential tariff treatment.
