Sectoral Promotion Program PROSEC

The Sectoral Promotion Program (PROSEC) aims at boosting the competitiveness of certain Mexican industries by granting preferential import tariffs for inputs and machinery needed to produce specific goods. The program identifies 24 strategic sectors that can apply for and benefit from preferential tariffs, including electrical, electronic, mining and metallurgical industry.
