2023 Import and Export Tariff Adjustment on Information Technology Products

The Chinese government is implementing Most-Favoured-Nation border tariff rates for information technology products in 2023, notably:

• Tariff exemption for self-adhesive round polishing pads for semiconductor wafer manufacturing
• For semiconductor-based unlisted measuring and testing instruments and machines: 1% tariff rate from 1 January to 30 June 2023, then a tariff exemption will apply until the end of the year
• Tariff exemption for automatic data processing equipment and components in multi-component integrated circuits, semiconductor modules with converter functions for telecommunications equipment
