Prohibition of Coal Exports

On January 1 2022, the Indonesian Government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has decided to prohibit coal exports for the period 1-31 January 2022 for holders of Mining Business Permits (IUP), Special Operation-Production Mining Business Permits (IUPK), IUPK as a continuation of Operational Contracts/Agreements, and PKP2B . This step was taken to ensure supply to power plants.
