Export Control on Industrial Products and Raw Materials
In July 10 2023, the Indonesian government of the Republic updated its Export Policies and Regulations. .
Certain products can only be exported until 31 May 2024:
- Laterite iron concentrate (gutite, hematite, magnetite) with a content of ≥ 50% (more than or equal to fifty percent) Fe and ≥ 10% (more than or equal to ten percent) (Al2O3+SiO2)
- Copper concentrate with a content of ≥ 15% (more than or equal to fifteen percent) Cu
- Lead concentrate with levels ≥ 56% (more than or equal to fifty six percent) Pb
- Zinc concentrate with a content of ≥ 51% (more than or equal to fifty one percent) Zn
- Anode mud (anode slime)
Starting June 1 2024, certain industrial products which fall into the mining product category and whose raw materials come from imports and/or scrap in the form of metal can only be exported for research and development, re-export , and/or export purposes:
- Laterite iron concentrate (gutite, hematite, magnetite) with levels ≥ 50% (more than or equal to fifty percent) Fe and ≥ 10% (more than or equal to ten percent) (Al2O3+SiO2)
- Copper (Cu) concentrate with levels ≥ 15% (more than or equal to fifteen percent)
- Lead (Pb) concentrate with levels ≥ 56% (more than or equal to fifty six percent)
- Zinc concentrate with levels ≥ 51% (more than or equal to fifty one percent) Zn
- Anode slime
