Chile - Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership

The Chile-Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership (CEPA) entered into force on August 10, 2019. It provides for the reduction or elimination of border tariffs and non-tariff measures , including for the following energy sector products:
-minerals products and metals, notably steel, iron, copper, nickel, aluminium, zinc, 
-fertilisers
-nuclears reactors and related parts
-electrical equipments

Rules of origins determining preferential tariff treatment require goods to be wholly obtained or produced in the territory of each country, exclusively from originating materials or from non-originating materials provided under a change in tariff classification or a specific manufacturing or processing operation.
