Powering Australia Industry Growth Centre

Establishing the Powering Australia Industry Growth center targeted at developing advanced technology and skills in support of the Australian Made Battery Plan (not yet announced)- matching grant that covers up to 60% of total project cost- supporting local manufacturers (for both renewables and battery manufacturing)- connecting local manufacturers with critical mineral producers- budget will be covered by redirecting existing funding for the Industry, Science, and Resources portfolio.The funding was been awarded to Powering Australia Limited in February 2024. The objectives of the program include increasing indigenous community participation in the development of renewable technologies through the engagement of a First Nations Business Advisor.
