Export Prohibition on Industrial Products

On 10 July 2023, the Indonesian Minister of Trade enacted export prohibition from June 2024 onwards, including for: 

Laterite iron concentrate (gutite, hematite, magnetite) with a content of ≥ 50% (more than or equal to fifty percent) Fe and ≥ 10% (more than or equal to ten percent) (Al2O3+SiO2);

  • Copper concentrate with a content of ≥ 15% (more than or equal to fifteen percent);
  • Lead concentrate with levels ≥ 56% (more than or equal to fifty-six percent) ;
  • Zinc concentrate with a content of ≥ 51% (more than or equal to fifty one percent); And
  • Anode mud (anode slime)
  • Waste and scrap other than cast iron
