Special programme for large-scale buildings renovations

The programme started in January 2021 and until 2023, 20 energy renovation interventions have been carried out, through loans amounting CHF 35 million. 
The Confederation agreed for a two-year extension of this special programme, until the end of 2025. The special programme provides loans for a duration of 25 years and amounts to 50,000 francs per dwelling. For the first ten years, the special programme gives interest-free loans to encourage public utility developers to renovate their residential buildings. Tenants must occupy their dwelling during the work of renovation.
