Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Domestic Manufacturing incentives

In 2023, the Malaysian government introduced the following tax incentives to foster domestic manufacturing of electric vehicle charging equipment:

• Full income tax exemption for manufacturing companies from 2023 to 2032, and
• Full Investment Tax Allowance for manufacturing companies for a 5 years period.
