Investment support for utility-scale battery storage

The Ministry of Energy of Hungary is planning an investment support scheme through grants and income compensation to support the construction and operation of utility-scale battery storage. Eligible projects will have to operate the storage for at least 10 years. Electricity system operators and network distributors will receive a similar support. A total of HUF 120 billion from the recovery fund will be allocated.
