Electricity market reform bill to protect consumers

In August 2022, the Government of Estonia approved a bill on the electricity market reform. The reform proposes to provide a controlled electricity price as a universal service for household consumers and apartment associations from 1 October 2022 until the end of April 2026, with the aim of lowering the impacts of the energy crisis on Estonians.
