Last updated: 12 August 2024

The Operational Programme Transport 2021-2027 (OPD3) has been approved by the European Commission. Czech Republic will be able to draw around EUR 4.9 billion from the European Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund for the development of rail and road networks. It is the continuity of the Operational Programme Transport 2014-2020 (OPD2).

It is divided in three priorities (and a fourth dedicated to technical assistance):

  • interventions on the rail and TEN-T (Trans-European Transport Network) road network, and intelligent transport systems (ITS)
  • road projects outside the TEN-T network
  • urban transport (tram and trolleybus lines) and alternative fuels infrastructures.
