European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment (FEnIKS) Programme 2021-27

For the 2021-2027 period, the Operational Programme for Infrastructure and Environment is under negotiation with the name of "FEnIKS". Under the FEnIKS Program the following financial allocations are foreseen (from the Cohesion Fund and the European Fund Regional Development), broken down into specific objectives: 

 

Supporting energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions - approx. EUR 2 billion; in particular, energy efficiency in residential and commercial buildings will be promoted public, installation of new, low-emission or renewable sources of heat or electricity, production of electricity, heat and cold in co- and trigeneration, development of heating systems and refrigeration units with warehouses;

 

Supporting renewable energy - approx. EUR 0.5 billion; Planned support will apply in particular, installations for the production of electricity, heat and alternative fuels from renewable energy sources with energy storage and connection to the grid;

 

Development of intelligent energy systems and networks as well as energy storage systems - approx. EUR 2 billion. Planned support will concern, in particular, investments in the field of networks electricity on all types of voltage and investments in gas infrastructure on all types of pressure and local networks supplied from local LNG regasification stations.
