Last updated: 27 October 2021

The Surrey Langley SkyTrain extension project in British Columbia covers 16km on an elevated guideway, eight stations, three bus exchanges, park and ride spaces, 30 SkyTrain cars, an operation and maintenance centre, and system upgrades. The extension is expected to serve 62,000 daily riders in 2035 and 71,000 in 2050.

The project will receive up to CAD 1.3 billion in federal funding. The Province and its partners will fund the remainder of the costs, representing around CAD 2.4 billion.
