The Austrian Development and Resilience Plan displays a set of measures designed to tackle the Covid-related economic crisis and to strengthen the Austrian growth potential, job creation, economic and social resilience. It does so by supporting the green and digital transition. 

 

The plan is divided into four pillars. The first pillar is “Sustainable Recovery” (Nachhaltiger Aufbau). As part of this pillar, the plan establishes the following objective: transformation towards climate neutrality. It plans to implement of a Renewable Deployment Act with the objective of increasing the annual production of electricity from renewable sources by 27 TWh. 

 

It will support transformative demonstration and pilot projects with high investment and support needs. It targets projects with a support need above EUR 4.5 million.
