Air pollution budget 2021

During the presentation for the Union Budget 2021-22, India's Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs proposed to tackle the issue of air pollution by allocating 22 billion INR to 42 urban centres with a population of more than one million. A voluntary vehicle scrapping policy to phase out old and unfit vehicles was also announced.
