Climate Schools

The "Climate Schools" aims to sensitize pupils, teachers and principals to the most intensive and, in particular, long-term awareness of sustainable climate and energy issues through the implementation of so-called climate school projects. The program is intended to make a significant contribution to long-term behavior change and the integration of climate and energy issues into everyday school life. Exemplary school projects are to be initiated and carried out, which are disseminated as model projects. Particular attention should be paid to adapting routines throughout the school, adapting the lesson design and building up specific knowledge regarding climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation.
