State Sector Decarbonisation Programme

The New Zealand Government administers a $219.5 million fund to reduce carbon emissions in the State sector. This work supports the Carbon Neutral Government Programme.

 

To date, the State Sector Decarbonisation (SSD) Fund has committed $96.45 million in SSD funding to projects that include clean energy upgrades at seven universities, ten hospitals and an estimated 90 schools. Investments to date will reduce carbon emissions by an estimated 292,000 over ten years.
